Dr. Carter is a board-certified internal medicine physician with deep roots in South Georgia. With 27 years of experience and knowledge and a passion for simplifying healthcare, he’s committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care to the people of Alma and South Georgia.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Carter enjoys spending time with his family and working on their local blueberry farm—a reminder that patience, hard work, and heart go into everything worth growing, including lasting patient relationships. He also enjoys golf, flying, and spending time in his second home, Athens, GA. A diehard Georgia Bulldog… GO DAWGS!
